Multi symbol parts
Traditionally one schematic symbol
refers to one simulation model and the symbol contains the same pins as
the simulation model.
Now it is possible to simulate parts, which use several different
schematic symbols.
iSim Plus introduces four new methods to use multi symbol parts:
* Analog parts with external power symbol. The power symbol connects to
every other symbol of the part.
* Digital parts
with external power
symbol. The power and gnd signals connected to power symbol overrides
the internal pwr/gnd definitions of the simulation model.
* Multiple
different symbols. These symbols are combined and they use one common
simulation model.
* Asics. These parts contain several different symbols. Each symbol
uses different simulation model.
